From details given to me by David's descendent, I have learnt that David changed his name to George
Hunter Wildie and emigrated to Australia (somewhere between 1851 and 1867). The family then

I am not sure why Edward and Ursula moved to the north west of England but they were certainly in the
area by 1875 when their daughter Edith was born at Wallasey. At the Liverpool sessions in December 1875
Edward was charged with larceny by a servant after taking three separate sums of money amounting to
£723 11 shillings from his employer Edwin Bamford and sentenced to twelve months' hard labour. On 1
October 1880 Edward was charged with stealing three "domesticated and reclaimed fowls" and was
sentenced to six months hard labour. [This information was given to me by one of David Willday's
descendents.]
